Grace was created by Magna Johnston-Bucknor, RN, MSN, CMSRN, CSA — a registered nurse with more than 25 years of clinical experience spanning the ICU, home care, hospice, geriatrics, and rehabilitation, and the founder of a licensed home care agency serving Maryland since 2020.
Over those years, she noticed the same pattern again and again. A family reaches a breaking point — a fall, a diagnosis, a hospital discharge with 48 hours' notice — and goes looking for help online. What they find are websites that look like resources but operate as lead brokers. One form submission, and their phone number is sold to a list of providers who begin calling within minutes.
